Ok. I have a Edelbrock 1406 (electric choke) and 1405 on a factory 2 x 4 intake. Both are 600 cfm. Car seems very lean at part throttle. From what I can tell, the carb with elec choke comes from Edelbrock 2% lean compared to the one without. Before I order a metering rod/jet kit, do you guys think switching the rods and jets so that the lean setup is on the front carb will make a seat of the pants difference? If not, any guess on how far I will have to go to richen the rear carb? Engine is a 10 to 1, 030 over 401 with a slightly hotter than stock cam, and cleaned up exhaust manifolds.
