Dry Heat?

    I'm getting ready to recover my rear seat and someone suggested I throw the covers in a clothes dryer to soften them up before installation? Is this a good idea and if so, how long?

    Just set them outside in the sun for an hour and you will be set.

    place the seat covers in a pillowcase before placing in the dryer. if the vinyl gets too hot, it could stick to the dryer drum.

    Dave - definitely did, took advantage of it and took the car for a nice ride. It was nicer the week before when we were in Easthampton, MA
