Many thanks to Doug Hecker. While at Cecil County on Saturday, he called me over and asked if my son wanted to have some pics taken with him in Doug's car. Naturally my son was ecstatic. How often is it that you get to sit in a car that just came in from a 150mph blast down the 1/4? He was on his instant messaging program as soon as he got home telling everyone that he was in one of the fastest Buicks in the world. ...and thanks to Larry Hymowitz for taking the pictures after finding that my son's camera batteries had died. ou: Thanks Doug! :beer I owe you one!
Coming right up Here is pic #1 Edited - I see Larry beat me to resizing them...Thanks again Larry! :TU:
Now you guys gotta stop!!! Doug's head won't fit in the car if you keep this up. Oh, and Doug, I was serious about a "run off" for the title of WHEELIE KING :moonu:
Do you really think there are keys to Doug's race car, there's probably padlocks, and more padlocks, just kidding, but way cool pics of your kid in his car. On a sadder note, Bobb had offered to take my brother for a ride in his car on Saturday, even if it was just to warm it up, but that didn't happen as Ted and his boys arrived from 50 miles away in PA, just as John and Bobb took off in the final run for Bobb's awesome GS. here's a picture of them with me and my car! There are some more pics and a couple of videos the boys took, I will post soon, RV
