Door lock cylinder

    When I bought my Buick no supplied key would operate the passenger door lock. I looked at the door cylinders and they look different from the outside:
    driver side (which works with my square key):

    and passenger door side (which does not work with any key I received):

    The cylinder in the driver door has a square opening, whereas the cylinder in the passenger door has a small "nose" (blue arrow). That looks similar to the cylinder for the trunk. Is that just a cover, or is the cylinder a wrong one?
