Started doing a custom walk in shower in our main floor bathroom over a decade ago. It got stalled numerous times for various reasons. Even had a few pretty intense arguments about it a few times. But I never gave up, just put it on hold for awhile lol. I had two contractors hired that ghosted us. Luckily no money was lost. I'm a handyman/carpenter by trade and this was a little bit above my skill level cause I don't do a lot of tiling. But I do know how to set/install tiles. After two ghosts I hired my good friend of mine Tommy who's also a handyman but has a bit more experience tiling than I do. Together we set all the tiles and grouted it. I did all the prep work, clean up and installed all the plumbing fixtures and grab bars etc. It has been named "The Castle"! Keith
