I finally had the pleasure of meeting Don McCurry this week and have to say he is a SUPER nice person to deal with and he loves FAST Buicks :grin: :grin: :grin: Don worked with me one time before on buying his red 70 buick but at that time I could not work it out but I did really want his car but as we all know sometimes things just dont work out and then some times they do :grin: This time they worked out :grin: so merry christmas to me :laugh: Don took the time to bring the car to me and talked with me about the car for a long time (have to say it was a lot of fun talking with him) he sold me his Car , Car trailer , And his extra 464 engine (mostly for race) as if thats not enough he threw in many extra parts (very generous person ) Don was so nice to do so much for me I just dont have enough space on this site to say how thankfull I am !! the car and Don pulled up to my home on wed morning and it looks BETTER in person than the pics show (that does not allways happen as we all know) the car has what he calls a street motor 455 I call it a "bat out of hell" the car is so fun to drive. We got thumbs up and people stopped and looked at it everywhere I whent that day. I hope someone here can help him find a really nice GS car when he is ready to buy anouther one as he said he is going to save up and buy something different later.. Ryans-GSX, I agree with you 100% about Don, he is a SUPER nice person to deal with. I met Don several years ago when my son purchased a 71 GS 350 from him. Don, being the nice guy he is, delivered the car to us, driving the car from his home in Michigan to Missouri. At the time of delivery, Don provided my son a complete history of the GS during his ownership, including documents and photos. The Buick community is very fortunate to have someone so devoted to our sport. Don , YOU ARE THE MAN!
I too have nothing but good to say about Don . I bought the post sedan race car from him and if I didn't buy that Suncoupe I would still have it .
