Don’t know what I’ll do with this yet

    It’s a Sherline Model 4400 17” bench top lathe. A buddy ended up with 8 of these in various pieces. We went through them all and collected enough to see what was missing. He gave me 2 of them, with another for spare parts. I bought the stuff to make it all functional, with some nice upgrades. I haven’t used a lathe since 7th grade shop class, which was NOT in this century. I figure that I’ve got enough parts and pieces around here that I can experiment until I get higher than “hack” status. At the very least, it’ll keep me off the streets and away from swap meets for a while.
