Well I got a dom 1050 coming just wondering what jetting would be good with my set up

    Stage11 heads 340 in 270 ex
    12.7:1 cr
    510s cam
    3650 lbs

What would be a good place to start, changing from 1000cfm 4150 hp that was jetted 87 99 and still to lean any suggestions would be great

    Thanks Mike:Do No:

    Mine likes 91-92........
Start around 92 and jet up until the mph drops off

I run 92 up front and 94 rear....keeps it cleaner on the street. plus I run a PCV valve as a vacuum leak on the front....again reduces chugging on the street.
If it's a 9375 you need to put smaller air bleeds in the high speed or it will always be too lean. The 9375 was setup for 2x4 on tunnel ram.

I'd bring some 42s for the back.....if you get a bog. Usually if you jet up the 37s or even 35s will work esp in the summer.
Might need 42s all the way around at Cecil on a cool day!

one more thing do you guys run power valves or are they pluged also the rear pump arm how does that get adjusted out of the box it is very lose?is that so there is delay on the rear pump?

    no power valves

if you have progressive linkage (recommended) there will be a delay on the secondaries and pump

go to clearance on the rear pump then go just enough to take it out

on the front pump run .006 clearance at idle so when on the converter you get a full shot, works for me

Well I put the carb on today and I have couple questions how is the best way to adjust the idle there are two screws front and rear

Also with the idle set I can't get the pump arms ajust right with the bolts tighted all the up there are still pushing down on the pump and when you hit the gas even a little to rev it up all four pumps squirt and doesn't rev up that good seems to rich. The card as the soft progessive linkage and even then the carb seems to open secondarys very soon I removed the linkage and check it the pictures on holleys web page and it matches up with part #20-20 which is the soft pro. ? any suggestions would be great this carb is all new to me!!!
