does anybody really know what time it is...

  1. Is it just me? The board shows an hour ahead of my actual time. I did recheck the time setting in my usercp.

I was actually thinking of changing to 'Central time' instead of 'Eastern'

    Home page has correct time.
Times shown for last post to a thread appear an hour off. :Do No:

  8. .........does anybody really care?........

That IS what I had in mind when I typed the subject. Chicago is kind of a forgotten band these days... one of my favorites in the late 70's, early 80's.

  9. and today, I really DON'T care what time it is, as I'm sitting here at home with strep throat... :boring: :gt:

NIST Time Never set it again

FYI there is a free download at www.nist.gov that will keep your p.c or server clock accurate to the fraction of a second with the Atomic clock in Bolder Colorado.

Being a major Chicago fan, I was thinking the same! Excellent band that still kicks major booty.

As I was walking down the street one day.................

  15. In it's entirety...

As I was walking down the street one day, a man came up to me
and asked me what the time was that was on my watch, yeah, and I said-
Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?
If so, I can't imagine why we've all got time enough to cry.

And I was walking down the street one day. A pretty lady looked at me
and said her diamond watch had stopped cold dead and I said,
Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?
If so, I can't imagine why we've all got time enough to cry.

And I was walking down the street one day (people running everywhere).
Being pushed and shoved (don't know where to go)
by people trying to beat the clock (don't know where I am)
oh, no I just don't know (can't see past the next step),
I don't know (don't have time to think past the last mile),
I dont know, (have no time to look around),
And I said, yes I said (just run around, run around and think why)-
Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?
If so, I can't imagine why we've all got time enough to die. Everybodys running.

    Old Days

Old days, good times I remember. Fun days filled with simple pleasures.
Drive-in movies, comic books and blue jeans, Howdy Doody.
Baseball cards and birthdays take me back to a world gone away.
    Memories seem like yesterday.

Old days, good times I remember. Gold days, days I'll always treasure.
Funny faces full of love and laughter. Funny places, summer nights and streetcars
take me back to a world gone away. Boyhood memories seem like yesterday.

Old days in my mind and in my heart to stay.
Old days, darkened dreams of good times gone away.
Old days, days of love and feeling fancy-free.
Old days, days of magic still so close to me.

Old days in my mind and in my heart to stay.
Old days, darkened dreams of good times gone away.
Old days, days of love and feeling fancy-free.
Old days, days of magic still so close to me.

    Saturday In The Park

Saturday in the park, I think it was the Fourth of July.
Saturday in the park, I think it was the Fourth of July.
People dancing, people laughing, a man selling ice cream singing Italian songs.
(Fake Italian lyric), can you dig it? Yes, I can.
And I've been waiting such a long time for Saturday.

Saturday in the park, you'd think it was the Fourth of July.
Saturday in the park, you'd think it was the Fourth of July.
People talking, really smiling, a man playing guitar singing for us all.
Will you help him change the world? Can you dig it? Yes, I can.
And I've been waiting such a long time for today.

Slow motion riders fly the colors of the day.
A bronze man still can tell stories his own way.
Listen children, all is not lost. All is not lost, no, no, no.

Funny days in the park, every day's the Fourth of July.
Funny days in the park, every day's the Fourth of July.
People reaching, people touching, a real celebration waiting for us all.
If we want it, really want it, can you dig it? Yes, I can.
And I've been waiting such a long time for the day.
