    desertrat_1960 DIE !!! RICE BOY...ZERRP!

After following advice here I swapped a 350 dist into the 455 after
switching gears. Now I'm a bit puzzled .
The manual shows a Clockwise Rotation .
On the underside of the plate where the advance weights mount
    is stamped "CCW" .
Am I correct in thinking that denotes a counter clockwise rotation ?
If it is can this dist. be used on my 455 ? Do I need to switch out weights ?
I'm a long ways from it running but it would be nice to have it right .
    Hope someone can help .
    Steve

    PS. The dist . is from a 72 '350 . My 455 is a 71' .

You can figger it out from the advance can. More vacuum pulls the diaphragm and the pin and plate, advanced the timing. Which way would the shaft have to spin in order for the firing event to occur earlier (sooner)? I think it's clockwise as viewed from above. CCW as viewed form the underside.

Thanks for hte info , Scott. I've been looking at a Pertronix Set-up
    and I think I read somewhere < for CCW rotation only> .
