Distributor Cap--1970 Buick GS

    Does anyone know if the original Delco distributor cap that would have came new on a 1970 Buick GS would have been brownish in color as opposed to the more common black?

    If the distributor was brown, does anyone know if they are being reproduced?

    Black is the color, but with age, they can sometimes take on a brown tint.

    I recently saw an add on Ebay which was advertising an NOS Delco Remy distributor cap that was "correct" for 68-74 Buicks as well as other A body cars. The cap was clearly brown and appeared to be new.

    Any thoughts....
