Does anyone know the stock specs for the bushing that goes in the distributor for a 69 350? I the dist. yesterday and realized there was no bushing so I made two at work today one is .280 OD the other is .305 OD. I installed the .280 and hope that it does not give me too much advance. The car has been running without one for who knows how long. If someone could give me some direction it would save doing lots of trial and error tuning. Thanks, Don
Don, I think MSD distibutors for GM cars use color coded bushings that allow differing amounts of advance. Don't know if they will work the same in a stock GM distributor. Maybe MSD would know. Just a thought.
