I am out front of my house prepping my 1969 "Nickey" ( backwards K) El Camino for Winter storage when a neighbor stops to inform me of another neighbor who has passed away. I live out in a rural part of the county. Anyway, The family is selling off his car collection. The first batch are as follows and these are the surviving family members prices, 1947 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup, 25,900.00. 1958 Corvette, 48,000.00,1936 Lincoln V-12 for 45,000.00, 1941 Chevy Deluxe Coupe, 18,500.00, 1954 Corvette, second year of production, polo white, 78,000.00, 1927 Roadster (?), 19,500.00, 1965 Mustang, 8,500.00, 1951 Studebaker Champion, 9,500.00, 1956 Pontiac StarChief, 23,000.00,1915 Ford Model T, 22,500.00, 1963 Corvair Rampside pickup, 12,000.00, 1980 Jeep Laredo, 15,000.00, 1954 Chevy 2 door, 21,500.00, 1948 Mercury 4 door, 17,500.00, 1967 Mustang convertible, 16,800.00, 1928 Chevy sedan, 6,600.00, 1930 Ford Model A, 18,000.00, 1929 Ford Model A, 32,000.00, 1929 Packard, 105,000.00 ( I also have one of these but nowhere in this restored condition!! ), 1952 Olds, 12,600.00 and finally a 1947 US Air Force Jeep, 26,000.00. The owner also has about 60 antique tractors from the 1920's up to the 1960's. All of the above mentioned cars are restored, I do not know to what extent but I will find out, believe me. The daughter informed me that another local collector may purchase all of them as a group but that is unconfirmed at present. Not one Buick in the bunch but I am going to inquire about any others that may be sold off in the near future. I will post further information after I talk to the daughter and 3 sons . I guess you never know what hobbies your neighbors have . The family has asked for discretion and I will honor their wishes and not disclose location or phone #'s at this time. I may be able to post some pictures at a later date but that depends on the outcome of the collection in the next couple of weeks. Regards, Upstaged in Michigan.

Quite the collection! That 58 Vette or the 47 Chevy truck would be very cool cruisers.
None of them are in my price range though. Then again, with most of those cars if they were in my price range they wouldn't be worth having.

Update ! The 29 Packard, 52 Olds, the red Corvette, (I forgot which year), and the 51 Studebaker are sold. All to the same collector. Anyway, my brother and I are going over to the location this weekend to look over the remaining cars, tractors, gas pumps and firearms, just in case. The family seem like nice people and not the car crazy type, like I am. Happy Thanksgiving to all !! Regards, Upstaged in Michigan.
