Heard a very simple spiritual truth Sunday on man and when man gets disillusioned. We must remember to keep on eyes off man and on the Master (God) as man will always let you down. Everyone of us in the flesh sin and we all fall short of the grace of God. The enemy (Satan) uses his tools such as doubt, deceit, greed, lust, etc to try and confuse and defeat us. He knows very well where his eternity will be and will try and drag as many as possible to be with him. Do not be fooled!! We need to remember that we must live in this world but not be of this world. Almighty God will never let you down and his will is perfect!
That is very well put. I had never thought of it that way, that Satan wants to drag us all there with him, to be locked in there permanently. If you don't mind, I may use that idea as a discussion topic with the small group of boys I mentor along with 2 other Christian men. Carl
