Does anyone happen to know if there is a disc brake conversion kit for 64 LeSabre?
If not, does anyone know what cars I can take parts from or what part numbers I can use for all the parts I'd need to convert over? I've been looking for quite some time and it seems like most companies just skip the 64 model year. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I purchased a disc brake conversion kit off of e-bay. $$$$

Should have done a little research before I bought it,
The caliper bracket from scarebird works good, most off the parts I believe are from a 76 Riviera???? The calipers are Chevy astro????
I still have to bench bleed the master, and finish all the plumbing, but I have no complaints. Yet!!!

i have the brackets from scarebird and they work great.

You get a list with everything you need to collect to do the conversion, like rotors and calipers.

If I want to go from manual drum to power disc brakes and use the scarebird setup (which seems really neat!), would I have to do all new brake lines or will the old ones work?

I would replace all lines, hard or soft. If your gonna take the time to go through the system, why not do it correctly.
I do not know if there is a size difference between the lines, but it wouldn't hurt to replace them.

i replaced all hardlines and hoses.

My parts are all diffrent then what's on scarebird list.

    I have rotors from a chevy 1/2 ton pickup(1982).

Calipers from a chevy belair(1968)mounted reversed(chevy had them in front, they have the hole for the hoses on the side and not on the rear of the caliper). So my hardlines and hoses now go to the front of the wheel.

I have a powerbooster and mastercylinder from a 1991 chevy caprice(needed to shorten the pushrod that ataches to the pedal).

And i put an adjustable prop valve in for the rear wheels only, and a residual check valve 10lbs.

works like a charm for me.
