Hey all, I have a 48 Super that I want to upgrade the brakes on. I've got a 12 bolt rear going in possibly with a disc brake set up from a caddy. I was wondering if anyone has done a simple disc brake front conversion without resorting to a whole new chassis or front clip swap? Anybody? I live in the mountains and am putting in a warmed over nailhead so I want good reliable brakes.
Rob, Have you tried FatMan fabrications? THey offer dropped spindles for early Buicks ( and many others) and may offer a disc brake kit as well. They can be reached at WWW.fatmanfab.com. Joe
