i have just converted my 65 skylark over to front disc and drove it. the brakes almost put me through the windsheild. is there a difference between the boosters for 4 wheel drum and front disc? the only things i used different from stock are hawk front pads and a master cylinder for a 74 corvette because later on i will put in rear discs. it has the correct prop. valve for front disc and rear drum. any info will help. thanks.

I just put a new booster and master cylinder on my car (power drum brakes) and the same thing happend to me, it took a while to get used to the new feel.

I think the booster for power drum and power disc is the same.
