Unfortunately the dipstick in my 455 engine broke today. I need to find a replacement ASAP if there's anyone out there who can help me. It was the dipstick that sits directly in the block without a tube. Thanks. allen allioop108@aol.com
I use the same setup in my car because of the headers, and have several laying around. You'd have to mark the oil full mark which is what I had to do. If your interested send me an address and I'll send you one, no charge. Merry Christmas!! Dave Berry
My buddy calls those types of dipsticks the suicidal type. He's lost a few from them touching the crankshaft. He now only uses the later type.
