    Fugly opera window.

They are asking $23k and can't take the time to wash the car or dust the inch-thick payer of dust off the seats?

I don't really understand why there is this huge difference between the asking price and the BIN price

The ACV value is not the BIN. That is what the estimate value and/or what the insurance company paid out on the vehicle. Copart picks them up, warehouses and sells for insurance companies and charities. I used to be a sub contract tow operator for them. This vehicle was most likely a donation vehicle (family doesn't want to deal with sale after grampa dies). The BIN is not a bad price if the body is solid and the car runs. You also have to go through a broker to bid (unless they changed that since I towed for them)

    I see, Tony.
So Copart is the owner of all the listed items, I thought it was another auction site, something like eBay .

Just a 'customized' standard '65 Riviera, that didn't really need those opera widows !! :Dou:

You can look at it that way, they are the middle man, but for all intents and purpose, they sell them as if they own them.
You can list your vehicle through them on a consignment type sale, but you'd be better off listing on eBay - more control over the sale.
I brought some cool cars in when I worked for them. I think I posted it on here a while ago. I had a 100K Porsche on my 5K tow truck :Dou:
