I know this is a stupid question but I am at a loss here. I have a 72 Skylark convertible and have converted it to a floor shift/bucket seat setup. The entire setup came out of a 71 Skylark Hardtop car. I used all the correct brackets and everything else but these seats sit really high up. My head almost touches the top now. Lets say I am sitting about 2 inches higher in the car now. Original seat was not worn out by any means so it wasnt just a low rider thing. I am 99.999% sure they are the same dang seats so what the heck did I do wrong? Are the tracks possibly different. My original seat was given away before I installed these so I cant put it back in to ref. the difference but any suggestions? I guess I just need to shrink. J
