Yes, I found the American Classics in the 1" whitewall, but not in the 3/4". The only choice at Coker for 3/4 whitewalls in 215/75r14 are Bias Ply.

What would the closest radial be to that size? 215/80-14 or a 225/75-14?

An H78-14 had a section width of 8.70 and a tire height of 27.76. Section width converted to mm would be 8.70 X 25.4mm/inch =221. So a P225/75R-14 would be the closest. It is 27.29" tall, a bit shorter.

The 225 only come in 15's, time to move to larger wheels! Largest 14 is P215/70R14.

Want some links with those Trendsetters? (Re: Did whitewalls go the way of the Dodo?)

Dear Bill and V-8 Buick users of the World Wide Web, . .

That wasn't enough for me to figure out exactly what you had found, so I put Google on the case. There is the manufacturer's (Cooper Tires) web page on the Trendsetter tires:

    http://us.coopertire.com/Tires/Passenger/TRENDSETTER-SE.aspx?gclid=CKaR7OT-yM0CFZNhfgodIEgHUQ

Here is a page from Summit racing listing all the whitewalls they carry for this tire:

    https://www.summitracing.com/search...tw=Trendsetter&sw=Cooper Trendsetter SE Tires

These tires aren't for everybody but another whilewall choice is certainly appreciated!

    Cheers, Edouard :beer
