I was givin rear springs open ended at one end and pigatail at other. Skylark had pigtail at both. My supplier claimed skylark had mid year change from open end to pigtail. BS?? Oh!!! He also sold me 4 monroe sensa-trac, my cost $210 cdn. Internet shows them at 19.95 rear (each) and 23.95 frt (each) this is US dollars...he claims that those are of lesser quality, made in China, and they have problems with them...but if I wanted them he could get those for me???

    Anyone hear of this before.

    Thanks.

Michel I've had alot of 67 cars and never seen one with the one end open springs. I bought Sensitracs for $45 each in Canada for a 87 Monte Carlo a year ago.

Thanks Ray..I actually phoned Lordco and a few other places and the prices were all in line...so I guess that pretty well supports my suppliers explanation. As for the springs I beleive he assumed and tried to come up with an explanation to save face.

1966 used the pigtail/open end rear springs. For 1967, they went to the pigtail/pigtail rear springs.
