Looking for a good unit. Dial-back a must, tach feature nice ,but not required. Not high end, middle of the road dependable timing light. Thanks, Jim
Jim, wish Sears still made them. This looks like a nice light for the money, https://www.ebay.com/p/Equus-Innova-3568-Digital-Timing-Light-Iv3568/1611867614?iid=163114321479&_trkparms=aid=555018&algo=PL.SIM&ao=2&asc=44040&meid=45b6aba5a32d44098273608915813910&pid=100005&rk=3&rkt=12&sd=192007039883&itm=163114321479&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 Reviews look good on Ebay, but I would google "Equus-Innova-3568-Digital-Timing-Light reviews" and see what other people think. Do a little research. This may help, https://wiki.ezvid.com/best-timing-...MIkfS888qX3AIVh4izCh201weOEAMYASAAEgKJoPD_BwE
Yup, I'll look further. I have only browsed Summit, and googled abit. Price is about what I would like to spend, don't need anything too pricey/high end. Ty, Jim
There's a lot of info and misinformation on timing lights regarding digital ignition boxes. I can say my cheap summit branded dial back light doesn't like it. I used to use a separate battery to run the timing light but that doesn't seem to work any more. So be aware if your planning on using a CD box.
Both my Sears light and Snap-On light don't seem to mind my MSD Digital 6 box. I have heard of problems, but not experienced any myself.
My Innova (I think) light doesn't like my MSD box under a certain rpm. Wasn't a very expensive one though.
The Innova's look good, but after reading comments and questions/answers at Summit for Innova 3568 , I don't know. Innova claims they won't work with MSD boxes but there are plenty of comments to the contrary. Looks to be a roll of the dice. Looked at MSD light. Pricey, but no advance features, ? Still looking, Jim/Rott
