Hey guys, My carb took a crap on me... Leaking gas out each side of car near base around both ends of the throttle shaft???? Car won't stay running... Please tell me one of you have a carb laying around that is bolt on and go ready.... I can't stand having it sit and not being able to run it.... Don't have a lot of money to spend... Not looking for new, unless reasonable..old but not worn out is acceptable.... Thanks guys... Hope this works
q-jet Why not try a gasket set and do a clean-up "rebuild". You can get a gasket set/ kit from an auto parts supplier for around $25. The kits usually have an exploded parts view and supply the specs for adjustment. BTW, Buicks like 800cfm carbs, too
Q-jet Needle and seat may have got stuck or float and just filling the carb with gas Autozone has kits for about 15.00 sorensone if all else fails PM me I maybe able to help with a Carb is it for a 350 or 455 Thanks Dan.
