Well, I thought that Id give it one more try before resorting to using my old NOS set of std. bore Kenne-Bell # KB50016 hypereutectic pistons (or, even worse, the original low comp. cast pistons) in my NOS Buick 455 block: I need only one (although Ill buy a whole set if required) standard bore Federal Mogul L2353F forged replacement Buick 455 piston. Anybody out there with one or more stashed away in some dark corner of your shop or garage? I sure will feel a lot better about my 1 HP/cu in regular-gas street engine project with the extra insurance that forged pistons provide. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
