It's been my experience that Harbor Fright sells crap.......I call 'em "dinky tools" :grin: but for $169, what have you got to loose, right? This one has an oil sump, which is good. Avoid the permanently lubricated ones like the plague! I don't know what you plan on doing with this, but it won't work well for sandblasting........you really need a 5HP 2 stage for that but a single stage will work except it will run constantly which is not good for it. Once I painted a car with a 3 HP but returned it for a larger one. You can never have enough CFM's........I have the 7HP 2 stage one from Home Deepot. Beware......today's standards are over rated........my 7 HP is only about a 4or 5 HP by the old standards. The 3HP you want may only actually be about 1 or 2 HP realistically. :bglasses:
