decoding a 1949 buick roadmaster vin

hi everybody, i'm looking to buy a 1949 buick roadmaster, i've been looking for info over the net for that car but i cannot find what i'm looking for, i want to be sure of the model, the year & maybe the value of the car

car is: roadmaster 1949
vin: 1406-69
body style: 47-4769
model 71

what do model & body style means, car is in perfect shape, like new, original everywhere. how much it worth??

First of all welcome ! 49's are not a cheap car by no means . I would check some sites like wwwkbb.com or Nada to start your value search .

Also Buick Club of America has alot of older Buicks .

thanks for the info. kbb don't have the price info for a 49 but nada as, as per their website, the car could worth around 13000$

actually, seller is asking more than this, the proble is i cant' check if its a deal or a steal...
