If the France family does not sell out, NASCAR is following the Do Do bird into extinction. Wait till the current TV contract expires. It is all that is keeping them afloat. TV ratings are way down and the next contract will really be trimmed back. Attendance is so bad at Charlotte that they removed a lot of the seating. In an attempt to camouflage the fact that the remaining seats are so unfilled, they painted the remaining seats a camouflage pattern.
Which car? Kyle, Kurt or Harvick(Busch sponser) Or is it none and you were just drinking that while watching.? Lol
Been watching the race from the beginning I'm trying to catch myself from falling asleep the glory days of NASCAR are long gone.
You got to love the stage one and stage two segments of the race what a joke just let them race from start to finish like the old days.
I wish Mopar would get back into NASCAR racing before Toyota ruins NASCAR . Just like Honda did with the indyCar series.

Manufactured excitement and parity have ruined Nascar racing still watch sometimes just don't enjoy it like I use too.
I am sick of the NASCAR product.....that race should have ended way over an hour earlier. If you want to see crashes then they got you covered....you want to see racing...watch sprints and street stocks at a local track if you can. I doubt if i will waste the time this year to watch a race.....looked like at least they had the stands filled for the first race of the season....Brickyard sure don't look like that.....anyway...weather was crap out today... Can't even imagine the dollar value of the cars that got destroyed today. You can put a car in the Indy 500 for half the price of the Daytona 500. They started restrictor plate racing because Bobby Allison almost put a car in the stands, now it ruins the racing and is financially devastating to the teams.
Don't know enough about the history, how did Allison get airborne?? They (Daytona) seem to have a serious fence along the grandstand. Yes do know about the carnage at LeMans and the '66 Indy race.
