C'mon Jerry, Can't you ask something tough? CS-9105 .554/.554 340/340 (no .050 specs) 105* centerline 4000-7000 Power Range 7200 Max RPM The highest step he had back then was the: CS-X108 .588/.588 350/360 108* 4500-7500 7800 max rpm Anything else you need from a late 80's NW Buick Performance catalog? :Brow:
Re: Cam card Maybe Dave himself has one still, unless this was just a "rebadged" KB cam. I thought Jerry was running a solid TA cam?
That CS9105 was actaully most likely a Poston 105 grind. Could have been done by a different grinder though. Jim Burek
Just looking at the specs Jim is correct, they look very similar to the gs105 by poston. I recently sold a GS105.
After re-reading the info on Dave J (circa late 80's), it mentioned he had been a rep for Postons. I'm guessing he used those profiles for all of the cams listed on the page.
Thanks Guys! Chrispy in Victoria has one of these and needed a fall guy to ask about specs on this cam so he didn't get beat up. Thank You
OVER LAP I was told this 9105 cam is similar but different then the 105. I think the overlap was tightened up so it could be run with lower compression? I ran this cam (9105)in my car with 10.6:1, mild porting, TA intake, 850 carb, 2 inch TA headers, and the car went 10.57 @ 124. If anyone has a cam card that would be very helpful....Chris
