I have an original 69 riviera, here in western australia, but seem to have conflicting codes on the plate mounted on the firewall to what it is!!!!!!!.
    My VIN#4879H923269
    My Engine#49H923269
My ID Plate is as follows.

    ST69 49487 EUC 133132 BDY
    TR 693 83 B PNT
    01B
From what I have worked out, TR693 is a 68 Buckskin, but mine is a 69 Black Pillow and B PNT is for a 68 Midnight teal and my 69 is Deep gray mist.
And EUC does'nt refer to a build plant?????
Any help to what it is would be truely appreciated, as it is from what I can come up with, A top example of a 69 Classic Riviera,a standard model, but fitted with air cond, cruise control and optional black pillow vinyl bucket seats.

    Well

You are missing the 1st few #'s on the vin, but that doesn't matter. The "H" tells you it was built in Flint, MI. The "9" in front of the "H" tells you it is a 1969 model. Your engine has the correct vin, so you have the original engine.

I think if you look closer at the trim tag, you will not see a "693". I think you have a digit wrong, if not it is a typo from Fischer Body maybe. Take a pict of it if you can. :Smarty:
