I can't seem to find all the fasteners holding this dash in.Also want to take the pad off-any help please?
Give me your email address and I will scan a picture for you..They are to big to post on here.. Randy
Right ! take off the glove box liner and also don't forget 2 small screws on the top of the dash cluster . At each end you have a "red clip"(see pic) that only snap in I assume that 69 are pretty the same and mine is a non-ac car . ac dash are slightly different
If you can't get it yet from the picture Donald posted I can scan one from my chassis service manual.. I has exactly what the nuts and screws are and all series of buick in 69.. These are awesome books and if you come across one on ebay or from a board member, I highly recommend one...They are usually only about 25-35 dollars and they are worth there weight in gold!!! Take Care Randy
http://www.buickperformance.com/cluster.htm That should show you everything you need to know. Remember you need to use some gentle pulling to get the pins to release from the holders at each end.
I just pulled the cluster and pad out of my 69. Everything in George's link applies to the 68-69 cars too.
A little too late for GoodGuy34 , but if that could help anyone in the future .... This diagram is a 68 car .
