Like Korrie said. They may be a bit pricey. Probably between $600 - $800. But the quality is awesome!
I'll second or third that - they are great...but pricey. You can expect perfection in both color match and installation, so on a nice car there are few alternatives. You can watch ebay or call all the parts houses (Buick Farm, etc). Some places can stretch vynil over the old one, but in a few years it will show any defect under neatch so the prep has to be prefect. Color match is a issue with vynil as well. - Bill
we are doing my brothers in his '66 but we aren't doing it original, we are doing it in pleated vinyl
Someone should email them and see if they'll do a group purchase price. We might be able to get a good price if we can get 30 or 40 people in on it.
I am going to call them Monday, I will ask them if they can give a group discount. I guess if anyone wants in reply on this thread and I will keep count. Lou
Good idea on the group purchase, I'd like to get my 68 Riv dash pad done, unless there's a problem with doing it because of the little automatic temp control sniffer opening in the top.
I just pulled the dash-pad from my '65 Skylark to see what needs to be done. Aside from dried, split vinyl and padding, it's also got an impressive coat of rust going on. I was orignally hoping to study up and redo this myself (I'd still like to), but I don't think I'll have much luck finding an affordable heated-vacuum chamber at Home Depot. Does Just Dashes get rid of all the rust too? If so, has anyone determined if there is a group rate in action yet?
Just Dashes I had mine done at Just Dashes and as far as I am concerned there is no better place to have this done if you want it done right. I am extreamly happy with the results. I think it looks better than new. But...plan on parting with about $500.00. Mine was done for my 70 GSX Stage 1 so it may not be worth it to you to spend that much. Thanks, Eric :3gears:
I have been speaking with Abe at just dashes and they have no program for discounts. He said if I had a few to do myself he could do something for me. I left it at if anyone from this group needs to have one done, call Abe and tell him your from V-8 Buick or the BPG and he would see what he could do. If he gets enough calls from the group he might be able to get some better pricing for us. As it stands my dash-top will cost about 500 plus shipping.
