The glare from the dashboard on the windshield made driving with a brown towel on the dashboard mandatory. The shiny metal was just too much. Autocraft Direct makes dash mats for every car. But they only cover the original vinyl area, and not the metal. So they told me to make a paper template and send it to them. And for about $70 I got a perfect fit custom dash mat. It might look out of place color-wise in this shot, but it matches the carpet very nicely. http://www.dashcoversdirect.com
Nice Rug Yardley.....Looks like a custom fit :TU: Heyyy !!! Wait a minute !! That looks like the same color as Moon's hair !!! Did you steal that rug off the top of his head ?!?!?!?
DashMat Hey Guys: I just recieved a new Dashmat brand cover for my '67, and it is about 2" short of covering the vinyl. Its got the correct defroster holes, and goes down the sides OK, but, it doesn't cover the front(rear?) of the dashpad. You would think that they would know what a 67 dash measured after 37 years.:af: BTW: Looks good:TU: Jim
Alan, all the hair that's on my head is mine.................I don't need to put "SHOEPOLISH" on my bald spot, that's right, I don't have a bald spot. P.S. don't forget the spf 9000 for that "MONKEY BUTT" while your in Salem. :moonu: MOON' :moonu:
Re: Guitar picks??? Yup. And one on the rearview mirror. It is really hard to fit drumsticks in the cockpit, so I opted for picks. One of them Johnny Paycheck chewed on during a coked-up frenzy at an old bar in Philly.
