the dash on my 63 Riv is horribly cracked!!! Was wondering if its possible to breack off the big pieces, sand it down, and bondo over thecracks and paint the whole dash???
Tr and locate a new one. Not worth the efffort. Maybe Just Dashes could repair it but be prepared to $$$$$$
If it's just a driver I'd think about one of those dash pads. Have one on my 02 Mustang and it looks fine. Dash is good but the pad (foam backing) really reduces the heat build up. Especially in a black car. I see them advertised in lots of car mags or on ebay.
Yes. I did mine and you can't tell. I used a plastic repair putty. Go for it and if you don't like it you can then put on a dash pad. Later Keith
