I am looking for a cure to really bad smells. I think something crawled under my tool shed and died. I can't find what or where it is. All around inside and out it smells really really really bad.

Anyone have maybe a cure that might smell as strong but not as bad?

I need to tool around in there and can't wait out the smell.
    90F temps isn't helping.

I had an aerosol can of air freshener that only worked for a min. I sat it on a stool and shot it with the BB gun through the crack of the door. POOOOF

Try putting a bowl of vanilla in the shed It will help absorb the smell, but like the others said dig it out or try to get lime on it that usually will do the trick on it directly.

    Hey you know what?

I stuck a vanilla plug in thing in the shed. One of them that squirts a mist every few mins. Well it did knock down the smell to only noticeable out side.

The sun going down might have helped too.

    Did you try vodka?

I vote for digging the thing out. Not a fun job, but the best way to deal with it quick. You'll also have to air the place out afterward.

Buy a bag of Charcoal and dump it in area. Charcoal will absorb all bad odors.
    Cheapest and easiest fix.

The vanilla is working to a point. It makes it bareable enough that once your in there for a min, You get use to it. It is just to darn hot for digging. Lots of good tips though.
