Honda Odyssey minivan. She swears it was a ‘chip malfunction’ and she was standing on the brake, but that is a tough sell for me. Insurance chatter is happening now so hopefully repaired soon enough. Yeah, I put a makeshift post and a few extra 2 by’s to give it something.. didn’t want it dangling too long. The kicker is that a few weeks prior the husband insisted on mowing that thin part of our lawn while he did his. While mowing he ended up running into and braking our mailbox off the post, but their mailbox miraculously stayed intact.. They must not be Buick fans.
I call BS on the chip malfunction defense. Brakes, for the most part, are mechanical devices. Been proven over and over if you stand on them, you will stop.
