what the original post is referring to is a completely brand new body that is being manufactured...I think it's different from the link above. I think the mag said some guys at CARS (not the Buick CARS guy)---it's a Chebby place I think---and maybe some other guys from Goodmark, Year One, and Ricks First Generation Camaro ( I really can't remember as briefly glanced at the article this last weekend) have put this deal together. Don't quote me on who exactly is doing it but it is a 100% newly manufactured body shell---convertible shell only so far, hardtops to follow. Patton
Great, that's all we need. MORE Chevies! ou: Don't worry, you'll never see a GS kit car and I thank God for it. You'd lose the uniqueness of your "real" GS and every time you pulled into a cruise night, people will be wondering if it's a kit or if it's real. Also, there's something to be said for having the only GS at a cruise night. :3gears:
....but I thought they were supposed to be " brand new sheet metal"?? If it's just restored cores, you're still going to run into possible body work issues popping up a year or two after you buy them.......
Ken As I mentioned above---the link mentioned above is not the same. Grab the latest issue of Hot Rod and you'll see the name of the participants in this 100% newly manufactured body shell. Patton
