Mike, I have not seen one commercial produced for the 64-65 Skylarks. Several board members have had cowl scoops graphed onto their hoods. I am in the middle of welding a steel cowl scoop onto my spare 65 hood that I got from Speed Center. It is quite a project.
Jim you have a stg2 motor in your 65? what kind of headers did you get to fit? More important how did you get the 625 number? Thanks Doug
Doug, I used TA's 2" stg 2 headers, die grinder/welder and a hammer. Almost all of the clearance work was done on the drivers side, front cross member and lower A arm mount. It was a real pain in the a$$. 625 hp - that was all Jim Wiese at Tri-shield. It is his new level 3 motor that is on his web site. It sure is a blast to drive and makes a perfect S/S engine!!!!! Regards,
