Hey guys, I have a couple of interior questions for ya:

-My dash pad is showing some of the color wearing off of it in spots and i want to fix it. Is that just black dye that is on that? Can you repair just the few spots without taking the whole thing off or do you have to dye the whole thing at once?

-I have 2 rear lights inside of my 69 skylark. There is one above each side of the rear seat. They are both missing the covers to them. Is there a place that repro's them or does anyone know where i can get them at?

    Thanks!

possibly your dash has been painted/dyed before. The black pads are not dyed from the factory..the color is in the vinyl.

    >You could try to touch it up by spot painting with something like SEM Landau Black Vinyl Paint/Dye....it comes in a spray can. However, there is no guarantee the gloss level (sheen) will match whatever the gloss level is on your pad right now.

    >I would pull the whole pad and prep it properly....then spray the whole thing.

There are other vinyl paints made...same risks on those.
