Yeah, and Roy Orbison, Only The Lonley, dum dum dum dumde do wahp  I have learned from this, the NAPA Duct tape and duct seal from Lowes are two to be checked out. I discovered the DigiGum from a HVAC guy. It says the working temperature is -40 to 272(or two hundred seventy some anyway) degrees F, so it is stable. I have been using it, but it will form a very thin "crust", I don't like that. I have used a lot of 3M strip caulk, and continue to use it, it is in the garage now, but it doesn't have much "body", easy to work with but pretty flimsy, and I know it will melt, and for what it is it is sorta pricey. Biggest thing I have learned, so far, from this post, we all use a substitution for what the factory used. No one has said they know what the factory used nor how to obtain it. Funny, the factories get, or got, it somewhere but we have not been able to find it. Thanks, Mike
Hey Sarge, it really worked good.:Brow: . Ive used that for 30yrs+ on all the mldg etc. Good for rattles also. Thats the only name Ive ever called it. Some of the young guys at parts house never heard of it, but newer car have the stick on mldgs. Gary
