i bought a motor and would just like to know if its there or not. the guy was and probably is very honest with me and i have bought things from him in the past but have a bad feeling on this as it drags on a bit. due to me as well as him. could someone please help with this. and like i said not a problem with him at all just a bad feeling of not getting what i bought. not a board member. an ebayer. i bought things for my car from him. his name is craig morgan 355 south st chenango forks ny right outside of binghamton he said. seems like a nice guy but just don't know. now that he has my money the deal seems to be draging. i sent him half the money and he said he would get it out for 2 weeks ago and i would pick it up on my way to new jersey. sent him the rest and the motor is not ready yet. seems i draged my feet on paying him and now he probably will drag his. just have a bad feeling about this. the motor is a core and i bought it for parts for mine.aluminum valve covers distributor brackets, ect. my top end on my lx motor was stole while in storage this past spring and just miss the hell out of the car all summer. his phone number is 1-607-692-4218. if a board member had it at least i knew i had it then and wouldn't think i sprung a bad deal on this. thank you much Greg Hildebrand ghildebrand@wi.rr.com here is a picture of it. i already got the intake carbs and some of the linkage and the air cleaner. but need the rest of the top end yet. thanks again
Yea that ebay stuff gets funny at time. Myself I sell custom made parts. Which are not made and half the time I do not even have the supplies till I am paid. I have a few people right now that said I am in no hurry for their parts but failed to pay. I don't work until I am paid. he may be the same, he wasn't gonna get dirty till he had all the money in hand. I do at time put myself out for people but I find with Ebayers its not a good practice.
I'm going to ask my brother about this one tomorrow. Craig Morgan sounds like a familiar name for some reason.o No: Chenango Forks isn't too far away. He's a bit north of there.....probably 15-20 minutes to the north of me. Here's a map (I'm near where 88 and 81 meet).
Greg - Did you ever hear back from Craig Morgan? I was meaning to try to contact him, but was in limbo when the board went haywire (no contact info). I did ask my brother if that name sounded familiar....he didn't think so.
