Could a 1971-1973 Riviera be ordered with a drivers door remote control thermometer mirror? I have a 76 Electra with the remote thermometer mirror but have never seen one on a boat tail Riviera. If so, I assume it was a rare option?

1974 was the first year for the thermometer mirror on Buicks. Cadillac already offered it as an option in 1973.

The Cadillac ones (at least by '78) were illuminated by a fiber optic tube like the lamp monitors were. I think it went to the instrument panel? I was thinking the door but nothing on the door was lit.
