Hey guys whats up? I was wondering if anybody could throw out

a wild (or educated) guess of the cost of all of the little parts

(engine mounts, radiator) needed to swap a 455 into my

300 '65 'lark? Reason I ask is because I am going to be selling

one of my cars and I am getting money for helping to remodel a

    house.

    Thanks,
    Philip:3gears:

Alum radiator 19 x 27 inches aprox $200, frame pads, I can sell you a set for $50, mounts about $45.

No, i 've decided to go with a 455 since I'll have the money soon and theres a good 455/400 in Arizona, so I figure I better do want I want before I start driving it or else I'll never get around to it, Plus I've got to beat the Chevy guys out here and get Buicks some respect.

I'm doing a simular swap now only on a 67...

Don't forget to get the 455 accessory brackets....Alt, PS, etc....and you may need a rear sump oil pan..depending on where the donor engine comes from.

Exhaust manifolds will also help to keep cost and maintainance low.

    Good luck!
