cost for ready-to-install 8.5 posi rear?

    70sgeek drive it like a rental.

    Well the rear in the ol' rag's ('72 skylark 350/th350) probably gonna need a rebuild at some point soon - it appears to be just your standard 10-bolt 1-wheel wonder and I can hear it just a little bit - might just be rear wheel bearings but I'd hate to pull it apart just for that.. Anyone know what a new complete setup would run (rebuilt w/new posi, etc would be the preferable option)... is that something National Parts Depot or similar vendors would sell? NPD at least would be a local drive for me to save shipping costs...

    I checked with Drivetrain Specialists (DTS) but all they'd quote me was for a custom setup at $2300, before the 3rd member was even added :rant: !

    975.00 with brakes. reconditioned posi new gears and all new bearings and brake parts. Jim
