Anyone know what the correct red is for 67 GS340 ralley wheels, hood scoops, ralley stripes? I can't find anything on them and I work at a paint store.I know they are not the apple red code "R" listed as a 67 Buick body color. If anyone knows the correct color I would love to know.
The red from the tape pinstripe works out great. I think they called it cherry red. This was back in 1991 though.
67 gs rusty, those are nice cars.i won one on ebay last year, and got the flu, couldnt transport it and lost it :ball: :ball: i have seen a thread where they called it 3m tomato red o No: you didnt get it from califonia on ebay did you?
The car belongs to a friend of mine.He can find colors that look close but was wanting to know if there was a offical color used in 67?Looks like tomato red it will be.The car was a local car and will be a while before it is ready for stripes anyway.
That info should be in the 1967 Assembly manual, if you can find one! The '66 assembly manual lists code 'R' for the red pinstriping (flame red), and code 'C' (artic white) for the white pinstripe. I would think the pinstripe color would be the same as the wider '67 GS340 stripes. o No: Ask George (Staged '67power) if the info is in the '67 Service bulletins.
67 Red My 1967 Ditzler Buick Color Chart shows "Apple Red" as code "R" which is Ditzler # 71583. Hope that helps. Michael Dyer
