I've tryed to use the interrior color code chart posted in another thread. I think the correct name for the Black used in 71 was Landau Black ? O'rileys cant cross the 72 black paint code color on the chart, may be wrong for 71 anway ? Does anyone know a correct color code for 71 GS steeting column in I believe a semi gloss ?
70-71-72 all the same black. Interiors had two shades. Semi and flat. Flat used near front and rear windshields only to cut down on glare.
Dave, I tend to believe the colors are the same also, but Buick says.......... 70 = #9266 71 = #9387 72 =#170B40 (?) Buick calls this their "Tintometer Formula Number" Fisher Body calls it code #W25A-848. Tintometer ou: ya gotta love it.... David
Dave, that is pretty weird as I think my 70 and 71 Buick assembly manuals both list what you show W25A for Semi gloss and W25 WOA for flat.
