I have a '68 Skylark Custom Conv. with the 350-2. I am ready to rebuild the carb so bought the kit. Before starting I read the paperwork with the kit and did not find my model number listed there. My carb is model number 7041142. I have no way of knowing if the carb was swapped out at some point or not. Will the kit from Advance Auto (seems to be the same one for most carbs) work just fine even if it is not listed? Maybe I need to specify a kit for a different year car to get the right one?
