Hope to have the engine compartment
of my '72 Skylark detailed this weekend.

Could someone please refresh my memory
on what paint (brand, code, vht, etc.)
I should purchase for my 455 engine repaint job?

    Thanks,
    Ed

Do a search on the board, the questions been asked a million times.

You can get the High Temp paint at NAPA, I want to say it is 1608 Dupli Color brand.

Duplicolor 1608 has been discontinued I believe. I bought all I could find a few months back.

    I bought mine from www.yearone.com
    wasnt too expensive.

I used 2 cans (with engine on a stand)

That was 3 yrs ago, and its held up good.

Cant remember the real brand as YearOne had put their own label on top.
