My trans cooling lines are going to have to be replaced when the 455 goes in in January. Is there a better and/or cheaper way to go than with OEM style hard lines? I want it to look good, but they are pretty hidden, so I'm not stuck on them unless they are really the best way.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks, Frank

Jim Weise sells a kit that puts the lines into the frame rail. Helps keep things cooler and out of the way. I think it's about $75. with all fittings.

I have kits for both in-radiator and external coolers.

Jim, what do you offer and what does it cost?

    Thanks, Frank

The thru the frame kit for the 68-72 A body contains all the fittings and lines to put the trans lines in the frame, and hook to the stock radiator. I designed this kit to eliminate the clearance issue with stock cooler lines and headers.

    Cost is $75 + shipping.

I also can configure a custom kit to fit your setup, all external coolers will require threaded connections.

Search the board for "trans lines" and you will find pictures of installs on various cars.

Jim, I have sent the money via Pay Pal. I added 3% to cover their fee. If you have them ready and can ship tomorrow, that would be great. I am installing the drivetrain next weekend.
