And miss.. :ball: I wish I had my truck back, I worked 1 1/2 years on this one, replace every body panel on it less the roof and hood. Guy I sold it too has a deal with me tho that I have first dibs on it back if he sells it......Lets see some pics of the ones you let go and wish you had back.
We did everything except the chrome and interior. My late Father and myself restored this '40 Lincoln Continental back in the late 70's. What a great road car with it's V-12 and Columbia 2-speed rear axle! Became a 100 point senior car in the Classic Car Club of America. Sold it in 1991 to someone out in New Jersey. If I should hit the lottery, I'm hunting this one down! (In this pic it has the first top which was ill fitting)
I was reading a article on those very cars just last night....did this one have the dash with everything in the center of it and dual glove boxes, one infront of driver and pasanger?
No, not '40 & '41. I have photos of the dash, just haven't scanned them. They did redesign the Lincolns for '42, they may have done it then. Not a big fan of the '42 through '48 Lincolns.
1938 Is the one I'm thinking of, here's a link to one, the one I was reading about last night is a street rod, orange and silver, beautiful car, sold on Barret Jackson for over 200K if I remember right. http://members.tripod.com/j_jlincolns/coupe.html
Pics of my old GSX I miss this one bad! Its currently owned by another board member. Maybe if Im in Mass. he can let me visit her. If I could only buy it back....
I miss my 79 Suburban, first car errr..truck. I knew I'd regret selling it but gas was hitting $1.70 back in 2001 and being in college that just was too much. Plus I was sick of fixing rust. It's still on the road, actually been sold a second time since me. I saw it about 3 months back, screaming down the highway. I was proud!
I miss my '69 Big Bad Blue (1 of 195) AMC AMX. It was a 390, 4-speed car with go pack and a rare cross-ram dual quad intake. I sold the car, but still have the intake :Brow: .
